Robert asks…What is the best way to market a new book?I've a good friend who annoyed with the 6% offers by literary agents is hoping to self-publish his book. He has a set budget and most of this will go on the printing process leaving just a minimum for advertising. What possible means does he have to market the book? And does anyone have any decent contacts or websites for authors within the UK / London?
